Reason for migration: I came here for the safety of my family and so that my children could get an education.

Commentary: I love to cook.  My brother, who is a chef in Saudi Arabia, taught me about food.  Many people in this country like Arabic food so I decided to start a catering business to help my husband pay our rent and other household expenses.  When we were in Syria, my husband was in jail and they assaulted him.  His back was hurt but he couldn’t get surgery until we came to the United States.  He is recovering right now so he cannot work just yet.  I like this country.  My family is safe and my children are learning in school.
